This week was dedicated to learning about calendar in Mathematics. We did a lot of fun activities. Students were shown a calendar and we brainstormed it as a whole class. Students were asked to bring 2016 calendars from home. They observed the calendar and answered questions individually in their Math notebook. Students were divided into groups. They explored the calendar and answered few questions written on the mini-board. Finally a class quiz on calendar was done called “Kaun Banega Maha Crorepati”. Students showed a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. In our classroom, we have put an interactive calendar for the students on the white board, so that they can keep referring to it.
