In  UOI , this week we started with our new unit “Communication”.   The teacher talked to the students in Odia language. The students were asked to write their feelings and reflection in the Ipad using the padlet, followed by a classroom discussion. Students had to describe themselves using a Colour, Symbol and Image for the Pre-unit Assessment. It was an individual task on a worksheet . Students watched a mime video and expressed their views and opinions. They also came up with student questions. Our whiz kids made these signs and symbols :) Students got various signs and symbols from home. They explored it as a whole class followed by sorting them into different categories. In Math , students were introduced to time. They were shown a picture of  a running race and were asked questions about time.
